As well as managing Mucklehus Anne Bain is a well known accomplished local artist working in acrylic, watercolour and print. Her works can be seen throughout the house and some may be for sale in her studio which guests are welcome to visit. Anne is an active member of two Shetland based art groups and takes inspiration from atmospheric skies and seascapes around Mucklehus as well as the Shetland landscape and the buildings rooted in it.
